Rick has more than 25 years of experience working directly with CEOs and business owners to help them identify and solve their biggest challenges.

Rick has in-depth M&A and financing experience in the Food Industry including Food Processing, Food Distribution and Agriculture. He engages clients both domestically and international in M&A and financing assignments.

After graduating from UCLA, Rick worked as a Fortune 500 consultant at consulting firm, Accenture, and Ernst & Young’s CapGemini. Over more than two decades, Rick has helped dozens of business owners and CEOs formulate key business strategies to improve top line sales and bottom-line growth. As a Managing Director at Janas. Rick advises clients approaching retirement or seeking a life-change how to position and sell their businesses at the best terms for top dollar. Rick studies leadership biographies and Decision Theory. He is a published financial writer and speaker to Executives at Trade Organizations and other events around the country. He is a volunteer advisor and mentor for the SBA/SCORE program where he conducts workshops to fledgling business owners.
