George is a consummate professional, whose more than 35 years of investment banking have given him a keen insight into what it takes to get even the most complex deal done. This savvy banker has not only completed hundreds of transactions, he has also been trusted by some of Wall Street’s premiere houses to open and grow their West Coast operations.

George comes from some of the America’s most storied names investment banks including, Paine Webber, Dean Witter Reynolds, Inc., Prudential Securities and Crowell Weedon & Company. He combines this extraordinary depth of experience with an entrepreneurial flair, having established and managed the rapid growth of West Coast banking operations for Prudential Securities and Ernst & Young.

He has focused his career on mergers and acquisitions and growth financing for clients. He has specialized in middle market companies, providing M&A and growth financing through public offerings including IPO’s, high yield debt, as well as private placements of debt and equity.

For instance, as a Partner at Ernst & Young’ Corporate Finance, his group of 20 professionals executed more than $750 million of middle market strategic transactions.

Over the span of his career, George has specialized in consumer and industrial products, health care services, the financial services industry and distressed real estate.

As managing director and CFO of Vantis Capital Management, a successful $1.4 billion macro-style hedge fund, George was responsible for financial reporting, internal controls, operations and risk management.

In addition, he serves as a Director and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Quality Systems, a $3 billion market cap public company.

George has a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard Graduate School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from University of Michigan.

George brings his extensive Wall Street experience to Janas’ national and international clients. His substantial reputation and no nonsense approach attracts investors and lenders even in the most difficult of circumstances.
