As the founder of Janas, he aimed to provide Middle Market companies with sophisticated advice comparable to that received by larger competitors. Carter, attracted to the entrepreneurial spirit of these companies, has built a team of professionals with diverse backgrounds, combining sound business advice with experienced deal-making to achieve uncommonly successful outcomes for clients.

With a history rooted in consulting and transactions, Carter’s journey includes founding an accounting firm, leading acquisitions, merging with Pannell Kerr Forster, and contributing to economic development studies at Touche Ross & Co. His expertise spans domestic and international projects, serving clients in China, Europe, and the Pacific Rim across various industries.

Currently, as the driving force behind Janas, Carter oversees the expansion of a team comprising Investment Bankers and Management Consultants, guiding clients strategically and closing transactions with innovative solutions and effective negotiations.
