Bio

Bill is a seasoned M&A advisor for the Renewable Energy Industry. His experience includes solar, fuel cells, and cogeneration project financing. He financed solar and cogeneration projects for large companies and governmental entities. He is widely recognized for his skill at finding specialized sources of financing that help his clients rapidly grow their businesses. His first two projects at Janas utilized specialized government programs to enrich his clients, including a transaction that secured and preserved more than $100 million in solar tax benefits by arranging financing and transportation to take advantage of expiring incentives. He found financing for international transactions that doubled his client’s sales, paving the way for global expansion.

Bill founded and managed a nationally recognized equipment leasing company for more than 20 years before merging it with a Midwestern regional bank. He was also Senior Vice President of National City Bank. His skills create opportunities and enhance both sales and earnings for his clients.
He is a serial entrepreneur and a founding partner and President of On Call Communications, a mobile satellite telecommunications firm.

He subsequently joined Clean Energy Capital Securities, LLC, an investment bank and financial advisory firm as Managing Director. He founded the firm’s Renewable Energy Practice. He then founded CARE Funding, a project financing and equipment leasing firm serving the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy industries. His services support financing and developing renewable energy projects. Bill developed Power Purchase Agreement Structures that provide significant pricing advantages for his not-for-profit Healthcare clients
