Craig Miller is a Managing Director of Janas Associates. He provides merger and acquisition advisory and corporate finance services to middle market companies. During his multi-year tenure at Janas Associates, he has led sell-side client assignments in industries including service, manufacturing and distribution.

He has completed transactions valued at more than $1.5 billion as a commercial banker, real estate entrepreneur and Executive Vice President of one of the nation’s top 50 industrial development companies.

Craig is frequently called upon to provide financial and transactional advice to client companies. For real estate companies, he is adept at dealing with issues relating to land valuation, complex environmental issues, coordination of leasing and management programs and title issues.

His transaction background gives him insight into financial issues arising in mergers and acquisitions and in corporate finance. His assignments are for clients in the United States, Hong Kong and China.

At Janas Associates, Craig has participated and led professional teams that completed sale transactions, including the sale of Rainmaster to Toro Corporation.

His commercial banking career began at Union Bank. Craig distinguished himself in both middle market business lending and real estate lending. He was promoted to Regional Manager of the Los Angeles office, Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of the Orange County office, the bank’s largest real estate group.

Craig joined Told Corporation in 1987, a large industrial development firm. He became Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and was responsible for Minneapolis. Craig combined resources with several partners in a private real estate venture to acquire and re-sell commercial property in Dallas, Texas. He managed and profitably sold 350,000 square feet of industrial space.

Craig joined Comerica Bank in 1994 and was promoted to Regional Vice President with responsibility for a commercial loan portfolio in which he participated in a wide variety of financial transactions.

Craig has industry expertise in aircraft parts, medical products, injection molding, food distribution, skilled nursing, garments, electronic distribution and components, and telecommunications.

Craig received a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Business Administration and an MBA in Finance from the University of Southern California. Craig is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
