Janas is pleased to announce that Roy H. Aaron has joined our professional staff as Vice Chairman of Janas Associates and Janas Consultants.  Roy will bring his broad experience to our investment banking and consulting practices.

Roy's background includes over 45 years as a practicing business lawyer, as a CEO and Chief Operating Officer of both public and private companies, as a business consultant, and as a mediator and arbitrator of business and legal disputes.  As legal counsel, his practice focused on corporate, business and real estate transactions; as a corporate executive he restructured companies, created and executed successful "turnaround" strategies and completed several public offerings of both debt and equity.  As a business consultant, he has assisted clients with organization, strategic planning, financing and the management of merger, sale and acquisition transactions.

Roy is a past president of the Los Angeles County Bar Association, a past chair of the UCLA Foundation and has been a member of the boards of directors of numerous companies and non-profit organizations.  He currently serves on the Boards of Directors of the UCLA Foundation, the Hammer Museum, the California State Summer School for the Arts and Dispute Resolution Services, Inc.  He also serves on the Boards of Visitors of the UCLA Library and the UCLA School of Arts and Architecture.
